I'm putting together a FT02 right now and i noticed something very strange about my FT02. The front 180mm fan under the drive bays is mounted upside down. I looked up a review of the case someone did on youtube and it was the same way. I'll assume silverstone has a reason for doing this but, i just can't reason why.

Wouldn't it make more sense to flip the fan so it pulls cold are in from the bottom of the case like all the others?

yeah, i was wondering if i was crazy, turns out i am. The power supply came in the mail today so I jumped it and hooked it up to test. The fan does indeed suck air in from the bottom of the case like it should. The blades on the fan are a bit strange, they only appear to be upside down.

It could just be a simple mistake from the factory, it was probably assembled in segments and the fans all didn't suck air in. But for optimal performance it would be wise to have them all sucking air in blowing across the hdd. Great case btw way cooler then the raven series imho

i think the front fan without the grill had trick you into believing that it is sucking air from the wrong direction (top to bottom) instead of bottom to top

try monitor the fan's spinning direction and also shape of the blades (facing up or down)
