Didn't want to hijack the thread. But yes, Haemorrage (sic probably !) is the best rock song of that type (the "I'm a miserable sod piss off").
I love it. Sadly Fuel didn't really get it together after that. Mind you, it was impossible to match that song tbh. Linkin Park were similar for me. Crawling was just a sick work of art, but then it all got kinda lame.
Same goes for A perfect circle for me. Judith was just aural filth but I couldn't really get into any of their others..
