Silly SLI question...

i have an asus 8800 gts 512,,,could i SLI this with any 8800 gts 512 or only asus made ones....i thought had to be identical incl manufacture but read a few things which are making me think differently....advice me

to my knowledge any will work, they removed the branding limitation a bit back as far as i know?

Its more the bios than the branding, but yes that will work fine AFAIK, its only tri-sli you have to have matching bios's

Back around the ~6800GT's, cards in SLi had to be almost identical or they wouldnt work together.

they should work fine together, however if one of them is a pre overclocked version it will run at the same speed as the slower one, as far as i know.
