SD card reader not being detected.

hi all, been a while for me,
ok so in my case i have an in build sd card reader which is dandy, and yesterday it worked fine to get my pictures off my SD card, but today, the card ready isn't even there, its not in device management or anything, i looked around online and this thing told me to go to device management, click on the device with the yellow triangle and uninstall it. so i did that, then it told me to scan for hardware changes, so i did that, but nothing came up, i went to show hidden devices and there is, " usb mass storage device" but greyed out and i cant install any drives for it. help.

If it's connected to one of your motherboards USB headers, then after uninstalling remove the plug and replug it in. Should then do the found new hardware thing. If not, it may be faulty.
