why cant they put in there firmware a section that will tell you how much you have downloaded or uploaded. i mean surely it wouldnt be that hard for them to do. they could even have it email someone to say you've downloaded a certain amount of data.

With the amound of capped products out now a days, i dont see why this hasnt been done yet.

Yeah that seems like it would be a handy feature for European users as it seems that everywhere you go over there has a limit on your monthly transfer... Instead, i think the isp's should just lift their caps so yall dont have to worry bout it anymore, hehe.

yeah sure i have a 12 GB limit monthly that sucks and if u exceed it ur connection is Completly cut off only the site of the isp stays availble so you can purchase threshold upgrades, if you want no limit in malta u need a 256k connection and that sucks i luv my 2mbps.

Well thats the problem Frag , it ends in British Telecom as they are the ones charging ISPs for whatever bandwidth has been used. So truly for an isp to have no caps at all they have to charge around £35 or over which not many people would like to pay.

Obviously thats where plusnet went wrong :nono:

Solution: Move to the USA, go to a place with Adelphia cable internet, get there 16mb/2mb plan for $59.95 no caps, live happily ever after :)
