Recommend me a headset :)

Hey guys, ive recently hit an issue and i need a new headset and i need it to work via USB (preferably just one but i could manage two) and not 3.5mm jacks. Im currently looking at the corsair 1500s as they have good reviews all round. The go for around £70.

So make some suggestions, cheaper options, more expensive (really make it worth the money though!) or just advise me to avoid the 1500s if they are in fact terrible.

On a side note if you can find me something open-ear that would be great but i have given up on this since there doesnt seem to be anything worth the money on the market.

Thanks for the quick responses guys, Im not keen on the v2s (i get the impression i will break those elastic bands) and Razer are never worth the price they charge for their products. Are there any other headsets out there?

I'm happy with my Corsair 1500s. They are both comfy and to me sound quality is very good all round. Many here will hate me for saying that, but I'm not the slightest bit an audiophile so if they meet the most basic of criteria (comfort level + good sound quality) I am happy

+1. I have the same headphones in white but without sound card. They sound awesome, very clear audio

Again thanks for the feedback.....just thought id throw this out.....whats the general consensus on just buying a USB sound card for around £13?

I am using Panasonic RP-HTF600 headphones, they only cost £30 from Amazon and they are really good - soundstage is ever so slightly less than my Seinheisser HD 595's that cost £140 and the bass is much better, they are great if your into dance / electronic styles of music.

Well Ive been looking around and people seem to agree that if the v2s are ruled out the 1500 is the best headset so ill get that.
