REALLY NEED HELP, motherboard error

Guys i really need your help.

i have a ASRock 970 extreme 4 motherboard am3+ and i reinstalled windows 7. but now when i turn on the pc it gives the drdebug code 98 wich means console input devices connect. and it will only show that for 2 minutes. and then the error goes away and it boots normally?

please tell me what to do.

any help is much appreciated.

seems like a BIOS setting may be incorrect!!!

but,

are you using PS2 keyboard and/or mouse,

OR

USB ones' ?

have you installed the drivers for them?

ty for quick reply much appreciated, and i use usb keyboard and mouse, but i installed windows before on same machine and with the same mouse and keyboard etc. and had no problems. what i forgot to mention is that after 2 minutes not only the systeem boots normally but also the error dissapears from the screen. hope u can helpmore!

haha guys its solved im probably the biggest retard ever. there was a device without software in there, took it out and it worked! tyvm dugdiamond!!

stumped! - it could be numerous things, from a virus, a bad registry, or incorrect drivers.

...if this is a fresh installation of windows... have you installed the motherboard drivers. maybe try updating the BIOS (if any is available) !!!
