so i got 4x f3 spinpoint 1tb hard disk's in raid 0+1

as raid controller i use the onboard raid controller on my Asrock 58x extreme 3

my problem is that disk's keep failing on me. yesterday the raid controller software told me that the disk in port 3 has an error and needed replacement. (ports 0,1,2,3)

i restarded my computer and used the ctrl+i combination to configure my port 3 harddisk to non raid.

after that i configured it back to raid so data would be written back on it.

(next day)

so now port 3 (disk4) work without an error but it tels me that port 2 (disk 3) has an error and needs to be replaced...help!!!

Intel matrix storage console is the software i use. It tels me when a disk fails and it puts the data back on it from the mirrored disk.

here a link to what harddisks i use

i know its all kinda cheap but it should work !

i hope u guys can help me out

Just sounds like a raid problem. Did you test the drives with the samsung drive checker dude?

I did have problems with my F3s (have 12 in raid 6) but it was just a config error from when I first built the array.

Once I started again from scratch with all the drives it was fine.
