Raid 0: Basic or Dynamic?

i just installed vista on a raid 0 setup.

At the mo, the HD is set to the default 'Basic' function.

i was wondering if its better to change this to 'Dynamic'?

If I decide to make a dual boot with XP, where would be the best place to install? On a separate HD or in the same HD as Vista?

Thanks.

If you're using the RAID function of your motherboard (or an add-in controller) then there is no need to upgrade to 'Dynamic Disk'. It's only needed if you are planning to run Windows Software RAID.

As for dual booting, It doesn't really matter too much. I'd rather keep my OS's on separate disks, but thats only personal pref.

How about Raid 0 + 1?

Would I have to set the the Raid 0 into dynamic first b4 I can mirror?
