R9 Fury X Reaches 1215MHz with Voltage Tweak

Was it air or watercooled by chance ?

I tend to get some clock throttling even with a high fan curve :(

i open gpuz and have it monitor the card, then after benches are done i check the max value of everything.
and for my gtx 780. my tdp was hitting 108% (it throttles at 106% or more if you only use the powerlimit adjust when overclocking)
I used the kepler bios tool to change the TDP value on my card and it never throttles now..
but there was no way i could do that whilst still on air.

hi all, and thanks for the article OC3D

i have some scores for fire strike. i used a test ssd and didn't realise the sysinfo was unable to read my cards clocks, also will need to update the vantage version. this will be done for my next runs.

this is my best fs score so far
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/5476446 card at 1195mhz core and 595mhz hbm
Extream http://www.3dmark.com/fs/5476467 same clocks
still difficult to maintain high clocks in these

new cloud gate and vantage scores

http://www.3dmark.com/cg/2912011 H.O.F 11th place 1220mhz core / 630mhz hbm
Vantage (v1.1) http://www.3dmark.com/3dmv/5309828 H.O.F 15th i think with same clocks as CG

having issues with tdp limits of the bios i do believe the fury x has alot more to give.

more benches coming soon

Very awesome I hope this can be released soon to the public :)

Still around 4000 GPU points short of a Titan X in Firestrike, Nigh on 2000 points short on Firestrike Extreme, 5000 short on Cloudgate and lastly 3000 short on Vantage BUT this is a vast improvement over previous scores so it makes it a lot more of a competitor to the 980 Ti/TX than before :)

any 1 else notice that time data measuments were not available for the test so it could all be faked any way?

edit
Scratch that Its the titan that has a questionable result..

just like to post a update of what iv got so far in 3dmark, now with 2x fury x cf

fire strike http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/8002950 clock for clock fs still does not scale well performing worse with higher core and seems to prefer higher hbm still think early drivers are to blame.

sky diver http://www.3dmark.com/sd/3238779 skydiver scaling really well to core clock.

these were done on the stock aio coolers for the cards, custom water loop for the cpu.

more to come

It's probably more of a 3d mark issue than driver issue tbh. They haven't updated 3dmark in quite a while and with a new memory architecture I'm sure they could improve upon memory usage/optimization

The TX results me and Kaap posted are very reachable by most if not all Titans with good cooling.

Think I got a good Fury X.

Managed to get 1150 on the core without any extra voltage *As it's locked for the moment* and an extra 50MHZ on the HBM for a total memory bandwidth of 563GB/s up from 512GB/s :)

quick update again thanks to 0.95 rail mod and ln2 was able to achieve http://hwbot.org/submission/2995735_ 32411-Fire strike and http://hwbot.org/submission/2991598_ 73545- sky diver new 2 card WR
under normal circumstances without mods once afterburner or similar releases a official volt control i believe 1170-1200 and 550~580 should be achievable on almost all fury x but will need custom water loops. the core on fury is cool even with volts the vregs however need close attention when blocking and monitoring under use. volt control is already out there for those who dare to flash bios :)
