right so ive built my new folding rig and after testing ive discovered it to highly outperform my current set up overclockin wise so ive put my gpu and ram into that and i get my new cooler delivered at some point today so i can overclock it even more 3.4 was my limit cause of temps and what i was next thinkin of doing was puttin my raid set up in there to add a bit more speed and my current install of windows with everything on it cause its a total pain in the back end having to do that all over again but im not sure if that will work, both mobo's have the same raid controller ICH9R

cheers :)

Best thing to do is give it a try dude, set bios up so raid is on and try, you never know it may be ok.

yeah i know how picky raids can be was just checkin to see if anyone had previous experience moving a raid to a new system with the same controller, im gonna get it done later still waitin on my cooler gettin delivered today, well i hope it gets delivered :)

I think changing Raid arrays over to different mobos is fine if you have the same Raid controller chip. Such as ICH10R.

its worked fine with me and it was all running away fine just installing the thermalright ultra 120 extreme with a lot of fuss! bloody cooler :cussing:
