psu cables

hi every one can you help .im thinking about making my own cables , i have some wire and it has this printed on it --type awm 2400 vw-1 80c 300v 22awgx2c
could any one tell me if it would be ok to use ?
im only putting 12v through it
or could you direct me to the coble i should be using

This is what you need to look at, it says it's 22 Gauge 2 Core Wire

For PSU you really need 18 gauge wire for the ampage and Watts running through it.
