now on to some disappointing news seems while the Switch 810 has ROOM for a 280mm rad in floor and 420mm rad in roof it does not support it with out modifying it. It has 15mm spacing for 360 rads but 20mm spacing for 420mm rads spacing on bottom rad is 15mm for both 240 and 280mm rads. But you have to cut out part of the case for it to fit a 280mm rad. I was able to install the 420mm in the roof by lining up the middle fan for support and attaching the outer 2 140mm fans to case prior to mounting rad. so its in there just with 4 screws I'll make a bracket later to give it a little more stability on the outer edges. On to the pics of the lower cutting I had to do keep in mind I'll be taking it apart in a couple weeks and making the cuts proper for now there a little crooked and well nasty lol. Just running out of time as I work sundays.

Man I need to come up with a name for her anyway shes back up and running not finished but the major parts are in. I cant believe the temp difference. I did run prime for 30 mins to check CPU temps still need to game but that will have to wait til tomorrow (well later today lol its 3am here need to get to sleep)

Pre temps

CPU idle 35c load (prime 30mins) 60

GPU 37 idle 68 load

post temps

CPU idle 26 load (prime 30mins) 40

GPU to be run

inside shot

Still have lights to put in and some cable extensions as well ( NZXT is sending those should be next week) Also waiting on Mayhems Blue Berry Pastel to arrive. Only reason I didnt wait on it is I have someone waiting on my old Rasa and RX360 so instead of making him wait i jumped in it today

Need a name if ya think of one post it lets see what we can come up with.

other things to report with the mods i had to do to make 280mm fit bottom is if you use a 360mm up top you can still get a fan controller in. 420mm rad no dice as the bay panels have to be removed to put in the rad and they hit the rad when trying to put them back in.

I suddenly feel I will be seeing a lot of 280mm mods.

Gorgeous build

Looks really good S_I_N, it's going to look even better when you get the pastel in there as well

I feel that if the tube went from the CPU straight down to the GPU it would have looked a bit cleaner, would this not have been possible? (WC n00b)

The rig still looks damn sexy!

its a dual loop cpu and gpu on separate loops but share the same pump/rez (rez has dual in and outs. This was my plans from the start but it does look a bit busy.

Thank You all for the comments

gotta get ready for work lol

disregard the temps lol seem my oc didnt re-apply when I started her back up. I'll get it sorted out tonight when I get off work. To tell ya the truth I was/am expecting lower temps than before but even I thought 20c drop was more than expected lol

might have to reseat some things shes acting a bit fickle doesnt want to boot at first gotta do the power button hold for 10 secs with cord out before she will. but post booting she seems the same.

ok 4.5GHz oc reapplied and werking 28c idle 53c load (prime95 30mins)

yeah i think the pastel and lights will set it off nicely still waiting on word from Mick as to the ship date so i can know when to expect it. hopefully it arrives around my holiday I have planned so i can tear it all down proper and clean up those dremel cuts and I'll drill the holes to mount the 420mm rad proper as well. While i dont think she's going to go anywhere i still would like at least 2 screws in each end of the rad but I must say she's nice and quiet loudest thing is my pump and I'll turn it down a tad to squelch it.

Nice temps. Gonna push it further?

Nice temps. Gonna push it further?

I may for a bench run or three but not for 24/7 as we all know some here have killed some chips (well not killed persay but killed ocability) by pushing to much vcore for to long. I'll see if I can beat my 5.3GHz in my sig after she's all finished. But for today its relaxin day lol I worked on her for almost 12 hours 7pm to 4:30am and I am beat lol. Plus I had to work a 10 hour day (I work 4 10 hr days) in the freezing cold today. I may garner some energy come wensday to work on her a lil more. But for now I'm enjoying the quiet and temps

Are you sure your gpu temps are right? i have 2 gtx 460's running at over 1GHz and they only ever get up to about 68 on furmark on air-cooling!
