Project Singularity

So having decided to not go ahead with Project Isotope, I have decided to go ahead with Project Singularity. If you remember the specs from Isotope they are pretty much the same / will be slightly better.

This is what is happening so far :P

This material is Alcubond, nice stuff

You must forgive the mess as I took these photo's on the run and had some other stuff going on in the background.

This thing is gonna be Huge.. well already is :P 60cm by 60cm by 60cm.

Though I am going to be needing all the space I can get.

Currently I plan on having x2 460 Rads. Also placing a water block on every single component. As I am very busy and do not know when this will be ready I will not post the Pc Specs as yet. Who knows what will come out? :P

Well Def going to be Black and Acid Green. I plan on having all the other panels made from perspex and have a design cut out, put on the perspex sprayed over then have the Green led show the design. Most probably going to be circuitry. The Top panel will be hinged so that I can work on the inside easily and have it for viewing the interior. The WC pipes will be Uv Acid green too.

Specs Roughly?

i7 2.4 Ghz Do Stepping ( 4 Ghz stable hopefully )

6-12 Gig 2000 Mhz Ram ( still deciding on brand )

Still deciding on Motherboard

x 6 60-120 Gb SSD Vertex probably ( make OCZ )

Powersupply Tagan 1000 Watt

Secondary 600 Watt at 30 Amps ( for Peltier cells )

WC bits to be listed soon.

As those tend to change so fast I did not bother listing. Although I like to work like this...I like to have the most Powerful Single card available, so hopefully when the case is near completion I can list it. As it stands its the X295 ?.

Since I am being pressured by someone *you know who you are :p * I will probably end up putting said card in Sli / Crossfire.

Great, nice to see some progress on this :D

Looks like you should be able to do two levels, with the pumps, psu, drive bays etc. on the lower level and rads + vital components in the top one.

Yeah I probably will have 2 sections but will be doing the separation vertically.

I have my reasons do not worry. All shall be explained in dew time. I found some nice steel fan brackets 480mm. Will be using those for Rads and Some extra ventilation for Mobo, even though it will have an overkill cooling power of over 2000 Watts I still want all the components to be ventilated :D.

All in all I want to build this case so that It can always be my main Case for whenever I upgrade to a new system... the other stuff can go in the other cases I have lying around.. I just wanted a personal touch and more uniqueness.

Hmm I was wondering what you guys would suggest in terms of preformance when it comes to Waterblocks.. I am quite new to PC watercooling. I know there are a lot of makes and quite a few benches online, I would rather hear it from you guys though! thanks :D.

Do not worry about filling up the thread :P project taking a while so I will probably re post the pics again later on :D. Just wanted to give everyone an idea of what is happening, also any ideas are welcome :D

Two best blocks at the moment are the Swifttech GTZ and the XSPC Delta V3... The V3 is cheaper and has better flow while the GTZ is more expensive, is more restrictive and has very marginally better temps..

Everyone seems to be getting fantastic results with the HeatKiller V3! I would highly suggest that you really look in to that waterblock for the CPU.

As far as the motherboard chipset waterblocks go you would really have to decide on a mobo first, before I can recommend anything and it's great that you're not even considering graphics yet since they do tend to change rather fast.

Seems like it's going to be a massive build can't wait to see more.

Yeah I can't wait to continue this beast!. Waiting to get a reply for those perspex sheets for the panels.. then Have to build the brackets for the Mobo and Drives / controllers ... lighting etc.

This is gonna take a while! but its gonna be worth it :D
