Project: Overdefined

What do you use for rendering? Is it compatible with google sketchup?

I use Solidworks. It can even do fluid and therodynamic simulation which is very important when designing a case (not) :-P I don't know if you can convert the parts to sketch up but since sldw is so expensive and extensive, I don't think so.

Internal work almost completed, just doing some strenght tests atm, Panels will be done during next week.

Also I'm working on overclocking the components fx8120 currently @ 4.9gHz using the Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro C1 getting about 55°c so plenty of room for improvement.

Interesting, I will follow this

bulldozer temps are not accurate mate, in my waterloop i was getting 8 degrees @ 5Ghz the ambient was around 25

I know, I also use the "put your hand behind the cooler" method :-P The air feels really cool. what speeds have you got yours upto ?

5 Ghz was the max i got it too but it wasnt stable but will be trying again as soon as i get my case powdercoated and finally mod the roof for a 360mm rad

Work on this is going very slow atm, I got so much work to do around here

Anyway, I went back to the school where I'm having this made, and I was checking out their machines.

I have to start all over again on the outside :'(

Here's what I got for the front sofar, top part is a door, haven't done much work on it tbh:

You just buy some laptops with a broken screen/touchpad/keyboard etc. Than put them in a little box that looks half good and sell it on as a htpc.. pretty easy money

mesh goes in sides, top slides open. the front holes are usb and audio.

This all taking way to long

Terribly sorry about that, but there is not much I can do about it. The design is now finished and send off to different metal working shops, hoping for a better price. I'm having my doubts on the school because the years almost over which means it would be postponed severel months
