ohh... so many memories this thread brings to me, remember when i had my 146 it was my very much the first pc i overclocked, 3ghz was the most my Asus mobo a8n could push. just gotta love it :) treat it like a lady ;)

I have to say. I love DFI, 939 and TCC5.

Stock cooler, stock volts on cpu. Ram @ 2.8v
 
to OC ram, do u just pump the volts up just like CPU?

i have always had my ram on divider, never dared to touch it over stock, (its 4 sticks of value ram :P

nice OC man, my 3500+ @ 2.4ghz got 36, and my 3800+ X2 @ 2.4ghz gets 39

Ram is a bit more complex than cpu. You have to worry about all the timings, voltage and calculate its speed from the fsb. I deliberatly purchased a kit that i knew would do well.

This was my target tbh. i may push for a bit more once ive got some better cooling. But im happy with this for now.
