Project: MATX Water Cooling

Well after a closer inspection I can tell that the GPU landed on the concrete with the edge next to the power connectors and crushed the PCB in that corner. I did test the card and all seems to be working. What a relief, I would have been crushed if my GPU was dead. I will get everything buttoned up and tested this weekend.

Hurts not, but if you got2go in rma later they mayby don't accept the card because they think it's a user mistake ^^

Project Complete........for now:

WOOOOOOOOW I love it .. very nice look with the leds in the raystorm and gpu cooler .. but I would sleeve on my own - I don't like the gloss effect of the extensions.

Thanks, I am using NZXT extension cables for the 8 pin and two 6 pin cables. :p

It's just MDPC sleeved .. you can do it on your own :)

My pump was sleeved with MDPC but I had to replace it because it was not done very well, I bought the pump second hand. I replaced it with some black sleeving I got the local electronics store, cheap sleeving but it looks nice.

After folding overnight my tems have held up.
Max GPU Temp 58c
Max CPU (3.8GHz) Temp:
44
52
48
48

Ambient temp 20c

All Fans are running @12 volts. Now I will see how good the temps are at 7 volts. :)

Looks awesome mate great job :D
Thanks a bunch.

I have some temperature results running the fans at 7 volts.
The system has been folding for 24 hours on both SMP and GPU.
The CPU is running at 3.8GHz, and ambient temperature at time of reading was 22c

Max CPU temps:
54c
57c
58c
55c

Max GPU temperature 69c

Not to bad considering the system is so quiet.

Small question, is it a bad idea to run 2 fans off of one 7 volt fan speed reducer?
