hey folks. since i missed the opportunity to share my work log here on my previous build CENTURION, i thought i'd share here my work logs for my next project: KURO. Kuro is japanese for BLACK. this build will feature a dark color theme. yes, i know the color scheme is pretty generic, but that's the challenge.. making it look different. although i do not have an idea on what parts i'll be putting inside this case mod (and how to get them), i will focus first on the case itself. "every journey begins with a single step.."

awesome that they include a CPU cooler in the packaging. =)

first order of business, remove the HDD cages. i like how these werent riveted on. just a few screws, and they are off.

one thing i also noticed is, the revision has rubber grommets for the cable pass through now. Thank you CM for listening.

this is the windowed version, that comes with a Cooler Master Seidon 120.

i edited already, is it still doing the same thing with the broken links?

UPDATE!

still waiting on some new tools to work with, so for now..

i dont have pics of the painting and priming process.. my hands were dirty. but after 2 hours:

so far so good. =)

did the same process for the top chrome lining too. =)

tiny update. took a quick break from customer builds to do some work on KURO

i know it's not alot, but i needed some cash to help me fund this project. i'll be back to focusing on this build very very soon.

UPDATE:

Update: i had a PSU cover lying around, so i modded it a bit.. and placed the KURO name. paint is still wet.. too excited to see how it would look.
