Hey guys, as you know iv been blabbing on about getting some new things going for a while, my computer sold, money went through today and iv got all my parts on order.

Anyways...heres everything iv ordered so far. What you think?



I know the cpu aint out yet but its on order.

Iv got a knackered hdd i need to send back to seagate so thats all sorted,

Only other thing is some thermal paste.

Am i missing anything vitally important??????? (knowing me i have missed something )

I dont mind about the noise.I use my dvd drive like once a week so meh.

All i need is a nice case for about 80quid with delivery.

I need a choice...and i dont know what to buy

I want something challenging and different and hopefully if someone (ham) sorts it out then i might be going for a P180b.

Got all of the watercooling bits through today from WCUK!

Forgot to order the Anti Cyclone plate though but will get one next week..





Im not a photographer so pardon the lack of quality. ROFL!

My mobo and Fans are at my mates and im too lazy to walk to get them so will take some pics when i get back from my weekend away.

Hey guys. Finally sent my brother to my mates.

Heres the mobo and fans.



Before i mauled the box!!



All neatly displayed...looking good!!!



I had to look at it...i miss my old P5E but this looks nice enough (i have no mobo mounts in the box, is that normal??)



All neatly boxed with the water cooling kit, waiting for the case and cpu,ram,psu,8800gtx and dvd drive to come along. (OCUK wont ship it all out because some of its not in stock, hence why i love wcuk)

Looking good so far, bet you cant wait to hook those fans up Remember what I said about the heatpipe system. Replace all the TIM with third party goo on the SB and NB and check the contact on the PWM sink - If theres not dents in the pad from everything under it, replace the pins with M3 bolts and tighten them right up

i have no mobo mounts in the box, is that normal??

As far as I know, the mounts normally ship with the case, as my Antec 900 had some already installed in the tray, and some in the accessories box.

Got some goodies from OCUK today. :worship:

The only things im now waiting on are the case and cpu to finally come out , oh and the hoseclips, thermal paste, holesaw kit and uv cathodes. If i think of anything Iv forgotten then I'll add it at the bottom. lmfao

I want to keep everything in their respective boxes as Iv got a mate coming over to build this with me. Thought we could make a day of it tbh. Then get completely mullered that night and do some overclocking. ( and download a shed load)

Nice little update. Got some things through today but wasnt what I was hoping for .

As some of you may know, iv got an E1200 on the way now just so iv got something to do me until the 45nm's come out. :worship: :worship: :worship:

Anyways.

Iv set most of it up with the mobo just on its box and everything just lying around it. looks kind of neat in a sense but hey, cant wait for the case (talking to marcus about it later )

Shall be putting my brother E6300 in it later to test it.

I dont know if you can see but iv got an old IDE HDD in there at the mo, simply because im waiting for my new one from Seagate to come back. Not a bad deal seems as i sent mine off last week and they instantly replaced it.

Anyways. What you guys think?

IDE ftw! Still usin an IDE atm, cos the mobo I was supposed to be RAIDing my 2 SATAs in turned out to be completley dead I'd be worried about the GTX snapping off the PCI-e slot once I put everything in the chassis lol, it must weigh an absolute tonne! Abit looks nice though, might consider one of those boards sometime, but P45 will be here soon, so I might as well just wait now...

LMFAO!!! personally, i think ill stick to S ATA. but i see what you mean, IDE's are great in their own way.

Just a little development with this build.

RAM = :banghead: due to the simple fact its D.E.A.D (DOA)

IM shocked that both sticks dont work so im sending it back and getting the same ReaperX ram again.

Pretty annoyed tbh that its dead seems as me cpu will be here next week so meh, gonna be a bit delayed on this depending on how quick a turn around ocuk can do.

(quick note) res stands, pump stand, anti cyclone plate and sata drive have arrived. Got the comp up and running at the mo with a borrowed stick of my bros RAM, so at least iv got a working computer.

Just a little update for those who are interested. Iv been waiting ages for the case and other parts to arrive so this thread has kind of grinded to a halt.

Anyways....

Got me some little bits i thought would be a nice touch to the case. Different mounts, anti cyclone plate and pump stand.



Also got some UV cathodes, loads of thermal paste and my mounting brackets etc. Not actually sure whether or not i will be using the mounts but hey, you never know.
