Hey guys! So the festive season is over and I have just realised my current PC is rubbish compared to alot of the ones displayed on these forums. I must say, I am a tiny but jealous ^_^

With the £500 I have, I am going to do some major upgrades to my current build. Welcome to the world of Project Electro, the amazing gaming build on a small budget. I'm going to attempt to get amazing performance out of this thing, so keep updated and see if it goes well. Planned specs below...

Colour Scheme: Black/Blue

Case: Coolermaster Elite 430 complete with Blue LED's and interior (Custom painted)

I will buy the parts soon. Also, I may collect a bit more money over the next few months so expect to see Water Cooling, a second GPU, and a faster storage soloution! Feel free to give feedback! PS: I did not build my current PC, I bought it from one of those ebay companies.

PSU is possibly one of the most important things that can affect the performance and lifespan of your pc. Don't just grab "some random 600w" one. I'd suggest sticking to brands like Corsair and Seasonic on this.

Alright thanks. I'm probably going to have to sacrifice something in that case.

I agree with OcSurfer. One of the BeQuiet ones should be good. Aside from that looks like you've put together some good components

Unfortunatly i'm having some issues affording a PSU. I will look at the random one currently in my build and identify it.
