Pre-Made PC

Competition is over and I still don't have a new PC. It was rigged I tell you, rigged. With odds of 50,000 to 1 I was so sure I would win the first prize.

So I am now too lazy to study and build one on my own, does anyone know where I can buy a pre-made PC at good price. I wouldn't mind buying second-hand from a reputable site, if it can save me some money.

So specs I want:

Lots of Memory Prefer 6GB+ as I am going to learn Photoshop and Video Editing so I need it.

CPU faster the better. I think Intel SB would be nice.

Good graphics card for future gaming (Skyrim ready)

Already have an OK 17" monitor so I don't need one unless I can get a good deal for a high res-monitor.

Don't want to waste money on SSD drive, would rather have large space and longer load times.

My upper price range around £800-£1000, but I consider that the high end of my limit wouldn't mind spending less.

Thanks for any input.

Always best to build a PC by yourself, it will take you no longer than a week to be a hardware pro if you just hang around this forum, plus you will save money and have a nice Rig you can be proud off.

What Qubo420 said, build your own mate

If you need help doing it just ask, you will learn how to build a PC and appreciate it more when you have put it altogether and switch it on for the first time.

  1. do a little research into the parts you need
  2. write a list of the FINAL parts, and do not stray from this list until the build is complete
  3. save up for (or ask someone for a short-term loan) everything you need.
  4. BUY ALL THE PARTS IN ONE GO
  5. the build should take ONLY a few hours (even for a novice)

the final tweaking (cadle tidying; overclocking; modding) can take a very long time after the original build. but that is just a pleasure

Thanks for all the advice and replies.

I thought build you own advice might come up.

I guess I can take my time re-researching the prices and parts again, will without a doubt post it here for final advice before purchase.

try buying a bundle from aria, or overclockers.co.uk

then you just need a few other bits

that should reduce your compatability issues...

Lol main reason I cant play games on laptops. I am used to 24"+

If I sit right infront of it and dont have to turn my head to check ammo in the corner it is too small.
