Playstation 3 PAL Launch 23rd March

According to Sony Europe the PAL version of the Playstation 3 will launch on the 23rd of March. Who's got one on pre-order? Care to comment? Feel free to do so below...

Man, if i was you guys i wouldnt buy a single one. Thats just rediculous for them to have such a high price! And FFXII saved PS2.

suppose it's the blu-ray drive that makes it expensive. Wonder what the media war will bring...

I believe HD-DVD will win due to the fact that Sony pushed away the adult industry.

I'm definitely getting one, yes it is a rip off, but will that stop me? Hell no. :rocker:

rip off? nah... I got offered a PS3 in december in HK for £400 the 60gb model, 3 games of my choice plus an extra controller. To think we would have to pay £425ish with no games for exactly the same console (just different blu-ray region lock), who would have thought eh?

£425 for the PS3 + £50 per game is a bit too expensive for me but I'm sure some people out there have spent more than that on their CPU . One of the reasons I bought the PS2 was because it could also play DVDs and I'm sure the PS3 will appeal to people who want an 'affordable' Blu-ray player. I guess it's pointless anyway if you don't have a huge LCD/plasma TV :skint:
