2x 590's, a tesla card, 8x SSD's in raid, SR2 with 2x Xeons all water cooled and overclocked!!!!!!!!!

Words can not describe how much power this thing has, the Tesla card on it's own is mind blowing but paird with 2x 590's........ i'm lost for words.

It's also nice to see it built in a LD case, I have seen them in LD's threads on here but never with a system in them, can't wait to see what this beast will look like once it's all put together.

Also I would like to know what PPD this thing is capable of, I might send him a message asking if he can let me know

Didn't anyone tell him that two GTX 590's is just a waste and he'd be better with just two 580's in SLI?
tongue.gif

i know - lol - they won't SLI very well on the SR-2

1x GTX590 plus the Telsa would suffice on their own

notice the IC-Diamond 24carat = great choice there
wink.gif

that RAID card won't handle the SSDs either
tongue.gif

PLUS: only one pump - he should need two (atleast) of them !!

Some how I don't think he is going to be using this for gaming, Tesla cards would have no benefit in games a would run them at about 6fps. This is purely for some heavy scientific software that requires a hell of a lot of processing power, for gaming unless you ran one 590 on it's own with one CPU it would be useless.

GUYS GUYS!! haha you need to watch and listen to this WHOLE video to comment,

Learned that this was for a radiologist
wink.gif
, still cant spell.

Also that pump he has is BEAST. And he is using TWO in unison if you watch the video THROUGH to the end. That is MORE then enough to suffice for the whole build. ALSO i dont know if this guy is just over his head but i dont even think you can get two gtx 590s to run with a tesla card... Reason why you see this video was posted about a month and a half ago and he hasnt posted ANY updates...

Just my 2 cents

I don't think he would be able to run them in a SLI configuration but depending on what software he is using he might should be able to run the two 590's in SLI and use the Tesla for independently using the 590's for graphical work and the Tesla for the processing and rendering.

i'm pretty sure the 'client' made sure they knew what they were doing before dropping that much money on a supercomputer

stop queening the thread up!

back on topic! i just finished watching the video, and the client was gunna go with a 80k $ SSD!

Woa thur!, its just a thread! MY THREAD -.-

And 88k 5tb ssd, And doesnt matter he is not paying for it. Like i said it was the local channel 2 news station who was funding it. And as many flat screens and projectors as i see now-a-days on tv im sure it wouldnt dent them. HAHA

Naa, this guy is making atleast 4.5k bank on this build for labor. The "client" has no IDEA what he was doing. He just knows general parts and products. Because honestly i dont know EVERYTHING i learn everyday but this youtube guy is kind of a mutcher. He has a video where he litterly says if you send him 50 dollars to his paypall and send him a message on youtube he will make your build questions a priority and answer any and all questions you have on your build... Something you get here for free...

The multiquote button is not working wtf... Sorry
