Is there any way I can check if my motherboard is 100% working because I suspect it to maby be a little bit faulty.

Please reply.

Make sure you have the 24 pin and 8 pin power connections plugged into the motherboard.

And be sure you have the memory in the white slots only.

ty for response. but isn't the 8 pin realy a 4 x2 pin?

i've anyway tried both so, nice if you have some more tips

Is there an on button on your motherboard. If so unplug the front panel connectors..... ie on and off switches and use the one on the motherboard.

I didn't find any on/off switch on the motherboard, I think its really wierd that nothing else. but some small lights are working, not even the LED's or fans...

I have thought about this for the last 12 hours and I realy don't know whats wrong, its obviusly power in the motherboard and all the devices is powered, if anyone have had the same or similar motherboard and could tell me where all the small wires were supposed to be, I would be really happy for any information no matter how stupid...

Even if some lights on your motherboard are working, the board itself might still be fried. I've had it happen to me. Seems like yours is DOA though, mine wasn't. My suggestion is to RMA it if the vendor doesn't have some sort of warranty on top of the manufacturer's warranty. If the vendor does (commonly a 15 day warranty), send it to them and they will replace it at their cost. Assuming its actually fried and you have everything connected properly.

Check the memory sticks are in the right slots, refer to the motherboard manual. I built a h55 i5 750 rig and missed that, put 2 stick in the 1st and 3rd, like on the old core 2 build, it didn't post

I've sorted it out

The problem was that the led, on/off switch etc. was not correctly connected the color coding was wrong and I finaly found out where in the motherboard manual the right "settings" were.

Thanks for all the help
