So in the last update I had just rebuilt the case with all the new bolts and that meant the custom floor was in. The blacnking plates for what was left of the drive bay covers were still in bear metal but all ready to go.
Quite a bit has happened since! So lets get cracking with the photos....
This little lot just cost me £150! All stainless, bolts are custom blacked and wont rust like normal black bolts will..... The Red washers are also stainless and cost £50 alone but its just to add some more small flashes of red for the detail freaks. LIKE ME!
Next thing I needed to do was fix the radiator securely, I found some mounts I like but getting them is a complete pitFa! Thanks to my pal Stelios at
www.thekoolroom.com these brackets were flown in from Australia!
We all know the 80mm thick Alphacool All Copper Monster rad is huge so the brackets were 100% needed. If you look Ive staggered them to spread the support. First picture is on the radator:
Then used this to mark out the blanking plate. Skip a few steps and you get this. The bolts go though both blacking plates for extra stength and help holts the two tight to the case:
Next UP SSD's I put the side panel on to work out roughly where I wanted them with some mock up 60GB drives I have here. This is a bloody good point to follow the video because I show you exactly how I fitted them.

Anyways the final results is this when its all fitted and Di-Noc on
Scarily close to being time for hardware now! Ive tested my 3960X's and chosen the best one for this rig, just as Im ready to put it together Intel email me and tell me Ill have a 3970X in the next few weeks! DILEMMA!
So fellow OC3D babies, what do you think of how its coming together?
