Orca

watch again? he said he was doing it in memory for his mother, which makes it not be a "few-thousands-pounds-parts put together", and he choose the stryker so that he didnt just put the parts in, but he had to do some modding for it.

Waahooo!! Finally the time has come :D
I too can't wait to send the end result :)
But damnn those bitspower fittings are just.... aaahhhh

it will be something to behold when finished. i'm really looking forward to a build log :).

Idea: taking the red parts of the motherboard and painting them white? Like with your old blue rampage. Just to have another unique touch to the build :)

Dont want too much white and theres a lot of difficult red bits on the R4E that could look wank if not done properly. Also white would take a good few coats to cover up the red without looking pink.

Mobo colours.

I know you said you were going to be using some carbon fibre? you should look into using it on the motherboard a little. could you also just have all black dims or cover the previous black with white and turn the red black? basically just reverse the colours?

with the interior of the Stryker being white, alot of the darkness will lighten up automatically.
main color will be white. secondary is black and accent is red. before the pci socket color change, it'll
have to be installed in the Stryker case to balance the color proportion. looking at it in the Trooper
is misleading.

another possibility to look into is changing the red to OC3D blue to represent the water of life
for ORCA. vinyl wrap boots surrounding the red bits in blue, for a suggestion.

genuine pain for the wrap or air-brushing the red. like i said, just a suggestion.

I know I posted this on the Youtube video but regarding your CPU waterblock. Have you considered have the block black with white bolts and the white fittings? Or even red bolts so that everything stands off.

interesting... more red?

Kinda. Unless you're going to the trouble of replacing all the parts that are already red. Rather than trying to minimise it which would make the design look, for want of a better word, odd, use a little more red for accenting other pieces of hardware and the whole red in the design looks like it's there by choice not chance.
