Still looking for extra people to join the team, really need someone that can post news during the day 09:00 - 18:00 GMT kinda time so we can get the press releases posted ASAP.

Shame those are my exact work hours.

Go on strawbs, if you get stuck on grammer or spelling, just use Google

, that's what I do!

lol, I'm good with spelling (Thanks to spell check

)

only problem is when I try and type things quick my brain works faster than I can type so as a result I end up missing loads of words

sometimes even when proof reading I don't see the words missing and just read them as if they were there and if any one says otherwise 9 times out of 10 I will out right disagree with them lol

tom is my spell/grammer checker

That's just being human Strawbs.

Maybe you could copy the entire article into Microsoft Sam and have it read out the article. Hopefully when it's done that way, your brain won't fill in any gaps because the rhythm that it reads in is probably different from yours. It can also be quite humorous when Microsoft Sam completely botches the pronunciation of a word.

And if you do end up writing the News, not gets "Your" and "You're" mixed up. I don't know why you would need to use those words in a news article, but if you do don't mix them around, it really bugs me for some reason.

seeing as I currently have no form of income this would be good way to earn some dosh.

But sadly my grammar can be terrible at times :/

My grammar is 85, but I'd not let her hold me back from a job I wanted! *

Seriously though, go for it, you're already well-liked here and I think people would welcome you to the role. With practise you will only get better. We are lucky to be in a time where there are spell and grammar checkers available!

I'd consider this a fun role myself, however I already have 7am to 6pm commitments on a normal day, so it's not something I could ever do other than casually, which isn't what's needed here.

Go for it mate.

Scoob.

* Being slightly dyslexic I sometimes totally fail to understand what I read...

If this post is still open for grab, I would like to know more about the details about the news coverage before I apply.

type slower

I'd do it in a heart beat but I fear I have the same common issue as most here. I suck at spelling even with spell check. (*I might be working on a vlog to deal with the same thing as well as tips.*) Thing is to do this you need to understand and type up things. This means all spacing done correctly and endless hours of going over new news press releases and then reconfiguring them as needed. I myself as I have TONES of time on my hands would love this but, I am in the USA and not sure I could be paid for something like this. It is a good dream though! It would definitely give me something to wake up to every morning and just chop away at.
