Some big news from me today. This should explain why no articles were released on the site yesterday from me. Wasn't sure where to put this, but I thought that the wider OC3D family should know.
The rules for lockdown got relaxed in Northern Ireland last week, which meant that I could finally meet with people outside. Hadn't seen my girlfriend, Jessica, in person since the lockdown started, aside from a brief encounter where I gave her one of my cheap IKEA desks to help her work from home.
It has been a long two months, and we were very pleased to see each other after such a long time apart. We made online dates work, and even celebrated our anniversary together over Skype, cooking in our own kitchens and then enjoying a meal together. Yesterday was the first day that we got to spend the whole day together after being apart for so long.
Yesterday, we went on a lovely picnic up Cavehill around Belfast. After some lovely food, some great conversation and a few games, I popped the question and asked her to marry me. She said yes!
Anyways, that's my lockdown news. We are both very happy right now and I hope that reading this will help brighten a few days during this challenging time. I hope you are all doing well.
