OC3D AMD Fiji Owners Club

GIEF VAPOR X FURY SAPPHIRE LIKE NAOW (I would be all over that card like a dirty horrible rash heehee :D)

Seriously if sapphire did bring out a Vapor X fury I would be wanting to buy one, they done a brilliant job they done on the 290X the only other card that beats it is the Lightning :)

IF they do it it'll be a while as they'll want OC support to be much better than currently and they'll have to work out the best way to do the PCB not to mention they'll want highly binned chips.

I'm hoping that there will be a fury with a full sized PCB and decent block support. That way I can go gunning for the big boys

I agree They normally take their time doing this just like MSI do with their lightning their version of the card goes to AMD for BIOS tweaks etc :) but it's worth the wait IMO

There really isn't any need for a full sized PCB anymore with HBM, It would be there to literally fill space and serve no real purpose.

I prefer the looks of a full sized PCB, thats why I listed it ;). It'll look daft in the case/build I'm planning.

Maybe the furyX2 will be more my size.

full size pcb fury anyone?

not that much different with the 980ti

plus no need for extremely "high" cards like the 980ti

Ya I agree, Fury Owners Club so that way whenever someone gets something like a Fury Pro or Nano or even the X2, we can just keep one thread and just edit the OP to differentiate them:)

All done, Now I just have to wait for Tom to do some Fury reviews :)

User videos such as gameplay or tech demos are also welcome.

Guys, can I pick your brains on the Fury X fan? IIRC the stock Nidec fan is PWM, a mate is looking to swap it out for a Bitfenix Spectre PWM LED fan just for cosmetics. Do we know if it's true PWM, or voltage controlled? And does anyone have the pinouts for the fury fan header on the GPU?

Still tossing up between this and the air cooled Fury. Have to say i'm leaning towards the latter atm, just. Not to worry though i've got plenty of time to think about it, I wont buy one purely on principle at the moment because the prices in Aus (and i imagine elsewhere as well) are stupidly inflated. The cheapest around are $1099 and $999 AUD respectively right now, when they're in stock. I'm hoping they drop down to $850 and $1000 within the next few months, so that i can buy a 4k monitor at the same time, then stick a second Fury in a few months later.

I'm sure I read somewhere on the net that some Fury's could be unlocked to be Fury X's...Maybe worth a gamble?

possibly a BIOS flash like the 7950 to 7970

Maybe, I dunno. I've not looked into it. I just saw it pop up on another forum. I've always thought things are locked down for a reason...Maybe in AMD's case its not?

how much do we think the Fury Nano's will be when they are (eventually) released??
