I get the feeling you're trying to imply something here?... Cause I've got a job as well

Well in all fairness the amount of money you've spent swapping out hardware in the last year you could probably have gotten a full X99 setup with 2 Titan X's ^_^

I definitely want to upgrade to the 1080 Ti and will be adding it to a watercooling loop for the firs time.

Do you guys recommend getting a reference card and block or wait for the likes of EVGA's Hydrocopper to be released?

I will be getting one myself but will be waiting till after the release of Vega as hopefully that may cause a further price reduction

Haha, true that. But that is why it's nice that some companies here have a 90 day return policy (if not longer), which basically makes it that I don't pay for it. So I have returned most of the stuff ^_^

But you're absolutely right though, I've gotten a bit of money issues lately :(

I think the amount of swapping for you Dice, you could have built your very own internet cafe :D

I'm so tempted to get a couple.

Well it's no secret that I want one as well, but on the other side I'm actually quite happy with my 1080.

I thought about doing a SLI setup, but damnit it complicates things when you're on water, on top of that it's an expandable AIO system which makes things tricky (as in I don't want a 3rd pump in my system due to the noise with the Eiswolf). My memory isn't really geared for SLI either, I would probably drop a lot of FPS. As I said... Complications hehe. In the end it's not worth it, hence I will most likely get a 1080 Ti down the road.

Skipping the 10's unless I upgrade my monitors massively in the next 12 months. Bring on Vega and Volta next year already. Please post lots of 1080Ti Pron here though :)

True although I sell my stuff pretty close to how much I paid for it so it's not that bad ^_^

That won't be the case this time dude, unless you find a serious sucker. :D I'm seeing a lot of 1080 price drops in Canada recently, and we get HOSED on this stuff in price terms. I'm seeing $200CDN drops on 1080s, almost to the point where they might make sense for me to upgrade from my 980's. Almost. :) The cheapest 1080 I've seen is $669CDN (Asus Strix). That one has an instant price drop of $120, combined with a $30 mail in rebate.

Still wouldn't buy a 1080Ti though, since that will be over a grand I'm guessing. I have a job too, but that's far too rich for my poor government slave wages.

I've already sold my 1080 Strix, Managed to get £480 for it, In CAD that's roughly $780 :)

Awesome, you bailed just in time. :D Are you seeing 1080 price drops in the UK yet? I assumed those were global, since nothing good ever happens to Canada first.
