OC3D GTX 1080 Ti Owners Club

Every company makes mistakes. It's not always because of things like carelessness or greed.

Yep and unlike many EVGA were hot on the heels to rush around with fixes, RMA and customer support. They are still the best on support imo. But they are far from the best on pricing of their GPUs. Worse than ASUS here when its just a small bump over the FE. Adding around £110 more in some cases just for that 10fps increase...

Just got an email from Scan

EVGA is your ultimate fanboy brand. They only make Intel and Nvidia products, both of which are considered to be premium products. By ignoring a huge chunk of the market they need to bring their cash in somehow. So they're expensive (when has that mattered to an Nvidia fanboy? they're willing to spend £1200 on a GPU for example).

But yeah, EVGA always put themselves out there as a premium brand with premium support and you really do have to pay the price for that.

Asus? most of the time they are just charging Asus tax simply because they have been around for so long and many of their users will not use any other brand.

BTW, apologies for the last minute thrashing the other night. I was probably as surprised as you were :D In fact I stopped checking the score at 80 mins and didn't even know we had won until the next day when I watched MOTD that I had recorded.

i'm ridiculously salty about that. It's almost sealed our fate to relegation i think.

Consider me part of the club. I just got a killer deal on an MSI GTX 1080 Ti Founder's Edition for only 533£! They only had 25 for sale online, I just stumpled upon it by accident :D

Who did you buy it from? a lot of scammers out there on Ebay and Amazon.
