I cut the mesh for the top panel and fitted it, and it actually looks pretty awesome

And yes you guys are right, the lines are the way they should be going by the black diagonal strip between the top and front panel and the bottom panel matches its own diagonal shape

I wouldnt mind a new motherboard to replace this old p8p67 standard thing. looking at the £180 tops region. 1155 socket. any suggestions? must tie in with the black/white/blue theme.

Also a sneak peak at the cables i got made over in the US.

Looking good, the roof mod looks really nice. As for a new mobo, MSI Z77 GD65, Gigabyte Z77 UD5 and Asus Z77 Pro all fit the bill.

Its a shame the Asus logo and the USB's at the bottom are brown :/ You wouldnt really see the 24pin brown but its just that dam Asus logo lol WHY did they go brown

I like that you cut the mesh to follow the lines of the panels. Looks like it could've come out of the factory like that.

Wow. That is one sick looking mod! Congrats on your hard work! Did you use a dremel?

As for the motherboard, TEAR IT OPEN! I bet you could get that heatsink off and either replace it or anodize the sucker. Keep at it, I love the angled vents in the top!

Ive seen some switch mods in my time but this is

My favourite. Makes you think. Why didnt they make it look like that from the factory

To be honest, it's a new design, and sometimes there's some kinks that need to be worked out. Rest assured, we DO gather feedback from the community to improve on our products.

Although, to be honest, I'm glad we released the S810 the way it is, because there have been some REALLY awesome mods to it. There's just so many good looking builds. I kind of want to do all of them myself lol.

Looks really nice! can't wait for more updates. Anyway where did you purchause your mesh plate? and what is it called?

Thanks for the comments guys, i will post another update today.

The mesh is Pulse modding 2.5mm hole 500x500 sheet from Specialtech

As for your question Xnine, i used a table that has a router mounted in the middle of it with one of these cutters

Stuck a template of what i wanted on top of the panel and the bearing follows the template cutting out the panel then its a case of sanding ect afterwards

looking pretty damn slick !, loving the 810 switch and what people are doing with them, I'm not much of a case modder. but will definatly post a build log with my efforts once i get mine!

well i went and got the Sabertooth due to its overclocking abilities ive read about in reviews
