NZXT H440 Custom Colour Swap

I would love this case for so many reasons. My current Bloomfield build is in need of an upgrade and running on 4 gigs of ram does not help trying to run scripts for uni. Also my haf 912 lacks enough room for water cooling. My plan was to invest in a black and white themed skylake build around Christmas rather than investing in my old build and I think this case would fit in perfectly. I wanted to start with the Asus Z170 with the white shroud, 6700k, an Intel 750 series 400GB SSD and 16 gigs of hyper x fury. I would use my current psu and my 6950 and would save over the summer holidays to upgrade the graphics card and then eventually make a hard tube loop with EK nickel blocks. This case would be the perfect start to a great rig for my studies.
Keep up the great videos.
Thanks and good luck everyone.

Mr. Damon "CreatiXx" Moons applies for interview

Dear Guvnor,

A job interview is what you asked and an interview is what you get.

- CreatiXx, tell a bit more about yourself.

Well i am a 19 year old student that works in vacations to be able to follow his passion. Just like every one here on the forum, PC building and try to be as creative as my mind lets me to.

- Now lets get to the point instantly shall we?
Why should i allow you to go wild and free with the case i have here?

Well sir its not much of wanting or deserving it more as the others. I just got inspired by the few ideas i've seen here in this thread alone and it sparked my desire to get back to the drawing board and put out ideas i had the past months. Please allow me to explain what i've got in mind.

You call your case the "Stealth" edition. Now Stealth itself can remind us to a lot of things. Things we cant see, being deathly, shadows, colour black, the blackbird we've seen already. There are LOTS of things.

What did i get in mind? I love samurai's and swordsman and "Stealth" sparked the idea to create something all black with little hints and touches of samurai in between.

I want to keep the case as pure as it is and play with paint or stickers show my art that i create. As Blaz3TV pointed out, i did use a certain picture to use as a basic for me to start off. Sorry for saying i did by myself.

Now once we get to the inside, i am dreaming and wanting to plan an all out watercooling loop. Al black hardline tubing with chrome compression fittings to push the "stealth" idea even further. Now for a little touch i would like to play with glown in the dark paint and paint the fittings with GITD paint and chrome. So the stand out at night.

Waterblocks will be all black so the fittings itself will stand out the most. As you can see i create something for backplates too. These will be done in chrome to, not sure if i should do it or not with glow in the dark.

The outside art is created with my pen on a tablet. Once i get further with design these will be done by the pen tool in Illustrator to get everything a bit cleaner. Though the front will keep this wild design cause this is my original drawing style.

I will try to play with high gloss black stickers mixed with a little chrome or all chrome. The high gloss will stand out on the ( i asume ) mat case and the chrome will serve as a little sweet touch.

- You said you want to do WC? Will you do this from the beginning or later on?

I dont have a budget now for WC, i do have a few parts already but i am aiming towards christmas/new year for the needed budget

My part list?

Mobo : MSI Z170A XPower Gaming Titanium
CPU : i7 6700k
RAM : Corsair Dominator DDR4 3000
GPU : 2x MSI 390, these will get modded.
PSU : Corsair 1000W Silent pro (might get updated)
SSD : Corsair 120GB
HDD : WD Green 3TB
Fans : aiming for Noctua NF 12 3000pwm for rads
Fractal design fan controller for them.

ideas i made so far :

i did use it as a basic and not sure if sarcasm or not. i want to recreate it my own way. Maybe need to rephrase?

wel it does feel like you're meaning i copied it though which i did in a certain way

Nah man, I understood from the beginning that it was an inspirational picture. You see text on a screen or a piece of paper can easily be miss interpreted. Good luck!

5 min job in my lunch break with MS paint.
Much like my last job application...

Build:
CPU Cooler could be no other but the DarkRock Pro
CPU 3770k That's right. 3770 kelvin is Hells temperature! (approx. 3500 degrees c for mortals)
MOBO - ASRock Fatal1ty B85 Killer Motherboard
GPU Strix 980oc with no stickers because it's a silent death dealer
Everything else optional. Entertainment guaranteed.

Comes with a bonus cucumber. (Caution choking hazard)
and these three 12 inch (ahem) guys arranged in front of the case:

Good luck ;)

Well yeah that's why..

Well first of all because this is what I use. :P
If you look closely it's upside down so the power supply won't go anywhere.
Open air design. Too open though. I can piss out of the window.
Right now i'm think of shaded white leds and a custom window to be drawn on an amazing photo that includes the joker and maybe Einstein in the back ground. we'll see where that goes.
Engraving or indenting a cool logo on the side, maybe some sentences.
Putting a custom made wooden torch/weapon perhaps to look as of the joker holds it from the window.
Putting two cuts of each side of the front panel with tale blue tale lighting like it came out of underground 2 or something.
Replacing the NZXT logo with a two red tone joker card.
Putting/drawing a chain over the entire case, golden black chain like, a bit scuffed.
Shiny metal coating the front panel as well.
Painting a spider as if trying to enter through the back IO.
Some cool ideas that took me 5 minutes to come up with.
But still having my lame ass pentium D in there. XD

Why Should I Have The H440

Tom,

First, let me start off by saying it is an honor just to be considered for the Stealth H440. That being said I have several reasons why you should choose me to be the recipient of the Custom H440. I have the want/need to replace my current case, willingness to create build logs of the build, desire for a sweet looking case to compliment my components, and a plan of attack.

Want/Need to Replace my Current Case:
Currently I am sporting the good ole' classic the Cooler Master HAF912. As you know this case was built to spec for it's day. Unfortunately, times have changed, and so has what we are looking for in a case. This case lacks ample room for cable management, mine in particular lacks SSD support (as it was obtained second hand and the 2.5" drive bay was missing), it lacks support for future upgrade, and even lacks any support for water cooling less a single 120mm AIO cooler, 240m AIO cooler if you're crafty.

Willingness to Create Build Logs:
I love to show off my build. Even though it isn't the greatest both in terms of looks and components, I enjoy sharing what I have done with anyone who will look at it. I have created a build log before of a build I did for my father. It wasn't anything fancy and let's be honest, I could've made some changes to make it better, but that is besides the point, he was happy and I showed it off. I enjoy letting the world see the little tweaks I add even if they are as simple as installing an NZXT GRID to manage my fans since my motherboard only supports 3.

Desire for a Sweet Looking Case to Compliment my Components:
I have spent a lot of time making sure my components all match, with the exception of my RAM kit which frankly I just can't bring myself to replace since it is merely cosmetic at this point. I have specifically chosen blue and white components or made modifications to my components to make them blue or white so they all match. I have even taken the time to sleeve my cables in a custom pattern to compliment my other components. I love the fact the my current case is black, as it adds a nice touch to the overall color scheme of the build. I have longed for a nice windowed case that would show off my rig without having to open up the side panel, which becomes a feat in itself.

Plan of Attack:
I have a plan of attack should I be chosen to be the recipient of the Stealth H440. My plan goes as follows: First things first, I will immediately create a build log on the forum depicting my current rig in it's current state. I will then await the arrival of the case. Once the case has arrived, I will take pictures of the case to show off it's various custom features prior to the installation of any hardware. Once those pictures have been uploaded I will begin to tear down my old rig, pausing frequently to snap pictures of my profess. Once my old rig is tore down, I will begin cleaning all of the components so they look their best once in the new case, (can't have dirty hardware dragging down a case such as this one). After all the hardware is clean (pictures of the progress uploaded), I will begin to install my hardware in the Stealth H440, again pausing frequently to snap pictures of my progress. After I have finally installed all the hardware I will take several pictures being sure to show how the custom features of the case compliment my build and upload them. Finally, I will upload one last glory shot of my completed build sitting in my setup and showcase it's beauty in it's entirety.

In closing, I believe I deserve to be chosen due to my plan as outline above. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my resume and considering me in your giveaway. I want to wish each and every person who has replied to this thread the best of luck, and may luck be forever on your side. Cheers!

Sincerely
Sean Felock

I wanna see returners with renders and photosoup ideas! Multiple ideas, not just my grannies dog died gimme gimme gimme.

I'm not the greatest with photoshop but I'll give it a try and post it up tomorrow sometime. Although to be completely honest, I don't know that I would do anything to the case. Personally I love the stealthy look of the matte black with no bings and whistles until you peep through the window

Plan for stealth case

I would do a very minimalist design like the h440 is designed for. Black and white theme. Parts:

H440
MSI z97 krait edition
i5 4690k
Nzxt kraken x61 (match the NZXT logo on psu cover)
16GB hyper x white ram 1866
My current Asus R9 290 but with painted white accents
Evga 850g2 psu
2TB hardrive
120GB Kingston SSD
Cable mod white and black cables

I will do a full build log to show you how the project is coming along. I'm new to this forum so I'd love to show people my passion for PCs. Plus I live in Wales so isn't far for postage;)

A Little Rendering

Here is an example of what I would do. The decal on the front would be blue, but I've been trying for the last hour to get it blue and it simply will not go. But in the end it would be the same color blue as the other decals. I hope you like my take on the stealth build :D

Maybe a hint to NZXT that it maybe worth them making available the trims in different colours separately

YES!!!! So This!!!

The black is amazing, and alot of times colors are tough to match and look strange between metal and plastic parts, not so with this, that finish makes it look great.

A Little Hardware

Here's a quick idea of what the case would look like with my hardware installed. I would also work on modding the stock exterior power led colors to either blue or white.

Damn. My friend always said that a blackout H440 would look awesome and I never would have thought that it'd look *this* amazing.

Now, let me preface this with the fact that I don't even somewhat have the budget to do this, but in the stealth H440, I would probably go with all black components like an EVGA X99 Classified with something to cover up the red E on the chipset heatsink or some all-black high-end Z170 board (I don't know which) with a 5960X or 6700k respectively. Maybe have some stealthy Ripjaws V DDR4 in a 4x4 kit. Then I would probably put 2 980ti's from Gigabyte in SLI and have all 3 components watercooled with a single parallel configuration starting from the bottom right of the window, going with a rounded 90° corner to the bottom card inlet, then the top card inlet, terminating at the cpu inlet and linking up all of the outlets in the reverse order. I would then put a 360mm radiator in the front with a 280mm in the top. Both of these would have fractal venturi static pressure fans (as well as the exhaust). The coolant would be a sort of UV Blue (or maybe uv pink...) with a set of high quality UV lights on the ceiling and right of the window. The power supply would be a corsair 860i with all black Lutro0 sleeving with a few light accents of the coolant colour. For storage, I'm thinking about an Intel 750 series 400GB pci-e card painted black with a pair of 850 evo 500GB ssds in raid 0 as a games drive and secondary storage in those ssd spots on top of the psu cover (I know from first-hand experience that they look rather ugly whilst left empty).

And yeah, that's what I would do. Again, I have nowhere near enough money to do this but I think that it would look pretty sweet. I hope someone deserving of that case gets it and does it justice!
