NZXT H2

Saw the video and news all over legitreviews and nzxt themselves. The case looks promising and the one feature that struck my eye the most was the wireless contact points for the front two fans

makes me want to start another build but perhaps some input from someone who is ordering their cases and their thoughts.

im a sucker for white cases

It looks fairly nice in white but the black door lets it down imo, personaly i think the fractal design R3 is much nice in white.

:EDIT: I think tom says something about the R3 being better overall in his eyes in the conclusion to the video, cant actualy remember that well.

What?... you mean TTL is not allowed to take on manufacturers for putting out lacklustre or in this case rubbish products? The H2 really is that bad, even that are 'no-name' budget cases that are better build than that. Just like AMD should be spanked for reference 69xx being just too hot and noisy compared to Nvidia's 5xx; just as Nvidia got slammed for the 4xx heaters.

I'll easily give up the hot-swap fans, and black painted interior for a much better no-name case.

No, just honest. Come on, look at all that cheap plastic and that crappy foam on the side panels, also that magnetic top cover, WTF. My £25 coolermaster 330 Elite is better built than that case and i'm not even joking. It might not have the features of the H2 but at least it's made of metal and parts don break when trying to unclip them.

I'd understand if this was sample concept case. But I'm shocked to see it isn't, why come out with brilliant cases and then release this case which would be more suited for the skip.

Just don't manufactures at all.

Yea thankss for posting that. I have second opinions now on the case. I do prefer the fractals and their build quality. Considering their same price point i am still sold on the R3. To be honest i was hoping for more from nzxt since ive owned the phantom and expect somewhat similar construction and planning on this case. Tom is right on the drive cages...i do not like the positioning. Overall after watching that 20min review i agree with tom.

i am not only on about this case review , everything since the gtx570/580 has gone down hill . some i agree with but orthers are ott tbh

Each to their own

Some of what Tom says is down to his personal preference, I watch his videos, take on board what he says but I still form my own opinion regardless of whether Tom likes the product he is reviewing or not but that case truly is badly made and and for the price you can get better.

I was just looking at this product,and was considering buying the white case,but with 2 weeks to wait until release and needing a case quickly opted for the phantom.

I have to say i looked at the black version,but as someone said the door just looks poor quality material.

Take a look at the pictures in this thread and youll see why I wasnt impressed with the H2.
