Nvidia Gets Sued Over GTX 970 False Advertising

So what if Nvidia raises their prices on their graphic cards, that only means that they will loose customers to AMD. Sure some die hard Nvidia fans will keep buying from Nvidia but with the fierce competition there is between manufactures at the moment, AMD will take advantage of the situation and why shouldn't they, if there is money to be made wouldn't everyone?

You underestimate how stupid/stubborn some people in the PC community are. They would pay £300 for a 750Ti just so they couldn't get a 290x..

Why? They'd believe that their first GPU broke due to 'driver issues' because they are too ego-y/proud to admit that they tried something stupid and it broke. That or they've never actually owned an AMD card and just enjoy hating on something.

Yeah, I was like that i stuck with Nvidia, know full well that the AMD card was cheaper and better at some tests listening to other people who said the AMD card no good i know full well now when your paying $300.00 or more there is not that much differences, I'm going to get another AMD GPU when the 300 series cards drop, Yep i'm stupid

I've personally had problems with both Nvidia and AMD so for me its whoever I feel least mad with at that point in time when it comes to upgrade :D. For my 780Ti, I got it as I wanted a change from AMD and it was the fastest card that would fit in my case (at the time of buying).

True I myself owned a AMD card some years back (Back then I guess it was Radeon) this one unfortunately had some issues so I went back to Nvidia after that. But I refuse to keep paying a company like Nvidia for cheating/lying to their customers hopefully this whole situation will teach them a lesson but I have my doubts.

Guess I'll be joining the wagon on the new AMD cards coming.

EDIT: I have also had issues with a Nvidia card a nvidia 7800 If i remember correctly but got a never and better card when the issues started from the retailer in Denmark.

Yeah, its just the luck of the draw

With technology there will always be issues at some point like someone mentioned earlier on this post, never buy cutting edge wait until it is tested and tried.
