I originally benched the E8400 in Nov but re-ran them in Dec when I got it to 5ghz.

Well Im setting up my water cool loop in the next week or so, depending on the delievery of things, plus another gpu so I'll see about nabbing some more points!

Sorry for being ignorant but are there only particular components you can benchmark or.....

you can benchmark any part of your system, although the only components you can score points for are the CPU and the GPU.
