No Power

Hey, I am currently trying to leak check. I have the motherboard power cable plugged into the PSU as per usual and then the paper-clip method on the other end + the component wire to power the pump. However at the moment I cant get any power, which is not encouraging. Could someone please post what needs to be plugged in etc, just in case I've done something wrong. ALL advice welcome, thanks.

your not trying to switch on via your case power button by any chance?

You have to power the pump using the switch on your power supply, as effectively that is your on/off button whilst purging the pump.

I am using the PSU switch

and jumping pins are definitely in the right places and making contact?

Double check everything, and make sure you haven't missed anything out.

Essentially this is how your jumper should look, but without the sleeving on the jumper in your case:

much appreciated

as long as they are making a decent contact, you should get power, they dont nessecarily have to be touching all the way round the female part of the connector.
