New Years Eve Plans...

Me and my dad got a random phone call from a good friend that owns a bar about a band. Well, we called out drummer/singer and becasue his wife he can barely do anything (no balls, whipped ect) he couldnt make it. So me and him took our guitars and amps and rocked the house. Turned out pretty good and we made over 50 bucks in tips for only like 20 people being there.

I`ve had to stick to being 20 seconds away from the bathroom since about the 28th.
Thought I was ok on the 30th.. til I woke back up on the 31st..
Seems I`m ok today tho.. lol we`ll see. Been on water mostly, eaten about a banana, 2 potatos and 4 slices of bread in 5 days (mostly on the 30th) - not good for a big guy.

Alright lads, long time no see
Reading this thread I am somewhat dismayed at the lack of people raving it up! It was NYE! C’mon!!! The ‘old been there done that’ doesn’t wash with me - as my 25th birthday looms closer I’ve been around many clubs/raves/DJ sets/gigs and it doesn’t matter how many times you’ve done it you can’t beat dancing your ass off with your misses/wifey/mates all night!
I basically had a pre/after party at mine with the focus of the night at an old warehouse, no big names just local talent which meant entry was cheap at £20.
Inside the warehouse had the decks up front centre stage, dance floor in front with some chilling spots towards the back (there was a lounge bit – leather sofas and lamps etc which I found a bit odd it being a warehouse and all!) They stuck to dirty house/breaks/electro inside. Outside in the forecourt were a couple of dudes DJ’in from an ice cream van with a huge tent over for cover. They dropped hip hop most of the night wrapping up with some dnb later.
I was on form and pulled two girls who happened to be mates, for a second I thought my prayers for a threesome had been answered. Alas no, the Big Man was just toying with me. I drafted in my good man Paul in an attempt to split the bounty lol and we seemed to be onto a winner
The girls began quoting Ron Burgundy at us, naturally our retort involved guns which was met with sequels of delight. They then insisted on inspecting us and declared we could ‘take down Iraq with those guns’. Naturally this cracked us up and is quite honestly going to be quoted every time I’m drunk for the next week or so.
Fasting forward a few hours I and Paul are in a sorry state, lost everyone including the girls and we left to go to our after party.

I didn't mind losing the girls either, it was fun just having banter and pulling them, plus when me and Paul got back to mine the after party was in swing...
