New Power Supply needed, 500-600w, £45-£55, Help please

So my current power supply just isn't capable of running my system so I need a new psu, So far the only one I am considering is the Corsair CX600 for £55.

If you have any suggestions then please feel free to help

Cheers

you mean xfx right? ocz do not have a good rep on their psu's. or much else for that matter,

Well their newer SSD's are pretty nice, just ask some of the members on OC3D.

OCZ PSU's on the other hand have a really bad rep. I haven't personally used one, but from everything I've heard about them I wouldn't buy one. XFX, Seasonic, Corsair and Enermax PSU's are very reputable and reliable.

i would never touch anything OCZ mate. either get a good quality psu now or youll end up buying another psu in a few months and possibly a new pc :/ mate of mine had a pc built for him and the bloke used a 650w unbranded psu with a fx 8120 and 6870. died withing a week :/ i would go with a corsair, enermax, be quiet or antec

The expensive OCZ psu's are pretty decent, the cheaper ones work reasonably for the cost tho but there are other options for the same cost tbh.

For about £65 the BeQuiet L8 630w is awsome, used one last month and its a nice little unit and has pretty good reviews, comes with 2x 8pin and 2x 6 pin so just right for alot of setups, its also modular so another plus there.

Corsair for sure. XFX warranty is trash. Trying to get them to abide to the lifetime warranty is like trying to get water out of a rock.

I still have an XFX 9600gt that I am STILL to this day trying to get them to replace, after it died 2 years ago.

+1, I have one in my work PC and it is very good indeed.
