Hi Guys,

So far we have had lots of great ideas on ways of improving the site, many of which i am currently working tio put in place shortly.

I was wondering if anybody had any ideas of how we could draw new members to our community, so that they can experience one of the most laid back, friendly overclocking forums on the net

How about some kind of useful software that we could buy an unlimited license for.

Would have to be something to do with overclocking tho...

I know lets buy an unlimited license of Windows .NET Server and give it away to each new member!

I'll pitch in .0001% of the total (which would still be like $100) haha

Agreed that web competitions are the best way to get people on forums.

Also a dedicated server would draw peeps in too. Maybe with prizes for competing.

Also the news page I suggested might draw some peeps...like at bit-tech with a suggestion at the end of each article with a link to the forums.

Some reviews of hot new products would get us on the map.

Also phase changing that San Diego would help!! hehe

Guides, info, news-areas, compos, games servers, F@h ranking, and free copies of win server 2003 (as frag said) and an unaffiliated anon ftp for users to acess once they have 100+ posts

Yep...all of your donations are very much appreciated.

ATM they are helping with the bandwidth costs of SX, and also i'm keeping a bit aside so soon we'll be able to start giving out some case badges/etchings to our dedicated members

Thats great jim! I was thinking that instead of getting a box colo'd id help on the monthly cost of a server rental for source.
