Well, this thread has been, well, dead--as usual, lately. C'mon guys. We need more active users. We need to recruit people, man. The forum's gettin a bit boring. I used to wake up in the mornin, about a hundred new posts, now theres about thirty.

XMS, you shld put in the rules, don't fuckin sign up unless you plan to become avid. You should also delete users that have been inactive (have not logged in) for 6-12 month's maybe. That'd pick out the good users from the bad, etc.

How can we get more people!?!?

the post count should go up when i get my broadband in and post while doing work 4 my course/other computer related crap (basically 24/7)

i have some ideas including active advertisment (eg in micromarts free ads section -- and ad offering free tech support / overclocking/modding help) also i sign all the work i do (that goes out into the public domain) with a www.sysxtreme.com plug (a few websites have the plug on it as do some drivers i threw on the net for various hardware...... mmm if only i could 'help out on the KDE or GNOME projects LOL)

OR //insert stupid crazy idea here// we DDOS all other overclocking and Modding forums (as if .... thats being unfair and petty, peeps should come here by their own choice)

Perhaps a certain time limit on a users a/c before it becomes inactive, but as far as I know the "forum news mail thingy" is supposed to remind people who have signed up that we are still here.
