Morning boys and girls.

Big changes are happening imminently.

I know Ive been very quiet for a long time and it is partially because there is a brand new, ground up website coming. We are actually gearing up to do the switch today if we can.
Ive had this month and this week given to me as a deadline far too many time over the last couple of years so that is why my warning is so late!

Now. Once the site is done, settled and any minor bugs worked out the forums will be next.
It will mean moving it all to a new host with a brand new forum software which will mean youll all have to set new passwords ect (so dont panic when that happens)

The forums have fallen to the wayside a lot recently and thats totally my fault but you can expect me to try and breathe new life into the old girl again.

Peace out, love you all and hopefully talk to you about the new site very soon

Looking forward to the big switchover. It has been a long time coming.

I hope you all like the new site.

Being honest with everything that happens in life yours tom or everyone elses, it's normal for things to take time, kinda like people with classic project cars that could be a dream but they get caught up in one thing or another and in the end someone off YT comes along and digs it out of the garage to see if they can get it running again love that kind of content.

Still change always happens but i expect the red and white will stay and maybe more white :D

Another feature that is realy useful is CTRL-V to paste an image directly into a comment.

Maybe start a thread asking the forum users what features they would like to see ?

OC3D branded merch when ? :D

I want some OC3D badges for my case, like the ones Noctua give you with their coolers:

My go to browser on my android phone is Google, and as much as I hate when chrome forced the side by side layout when scrolling through open tabs ( I am since forever accidentally closing open tabs whilst attempting to scroll through them... I have had to accept "progress" and get over what in my view was a backwards step forward and a reduction in the ease of use of chrome.

Likewise, I prefer coming to the Oc3d website and having the latest and greatest news presented immediately in a chronological order... So I can quickly catch up on what's going on in the tech world.... But now I have to scroll through the entire page and mentally decipher between the different categories and recency of news topics. This is a favourite site of mine, but I can see myself no longer becoming a daily visitor to the site... what I got out of the site is now all over the shop.

I hope the changes work and achieve the desired goals, but I feel like someone has come along with car keys and put a scratch in my ferrari

Go to the home page, hit news: https://overclock3d.net/news/

Thats all in order dude. All the models on the site can be moved around so we can flow with the big launches at the time.

There is a new news section if you scroll a bit down.

We had to make things simpler for mobile and this is just how we had to go about it.

On desktop it should be gravy and super slick.

At the time of typing there is a small thing we are working on but thats to be expected with something so new and thats why we are all still up working on it

I had a browse on the main website today, it really does seem to be a bit cluttered and I get a panic attack looking at it :) ... Maybe I am just to used to the old website.

The Techpowerup website it my favorite site to browse for a few years now, everything makes sense and is easy on the eyes with so much information in one place, where your new website gives me just one sliding banner with old articles and lots of publicity:

Both sites here are at 100% in my browser
