Interestingly, the shroud clips off, suggesting 3rd party purchases that in fairness should be cheap-ish. Just a simple clip-on 2x fan shroud will do a better job, for example.

Thanks for the link UkGouki! Looks to be a BEAST (Very nice fraps on AVP)! I also really do like the looks of the card, very sleek. The only questions left for me are, how much heat is generated (still only 1 fan, will it be enough?), how loud is it, and what's the price?

~£580/90 being mentioned by some etailers, before even listing them officially, but you have to be very weary of buying them immediately, as the prices will be hiked in places due to availability and greed.

Like with all new tech, premium prices if you want them yesterday ! Keen eyes will wait for the hikes to go away and the usual price drop after a month or so.

While your right i think either way Nvidia are going to want this as close to AMD's 6990 pricing as they can to maintain competition.

cards performance is def not what I expected. Seems to have better stability and cpu utiliztion than the 6990 but no better performance as they've down clocked it so much to keep it cool n quiet
