Hi people I am looking at buying a new headset as my partner broke my Asus Orion pro. I need them to be comfortable and clear. I used to play wow a lot which can result in me wearing them for a long time. any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

What's your budget ?
Do you have a soundcard ?
Do you want them to be USB ?

Plus you don't want to be wasting money on a quality headset when you only use low power onboard sound. ;) I've been using the CM Storm Pulse R headset on a old Gigabyte AM3+ board since January and just switched to a Asus H97 with the Supreme FX 300Ohm headphone amp.... and all I can say is just wow! What a difference.

I would not be able to fit a soundcard as my graphics card covers the pcie slot :(

Mini AMP/DAC. You just connect them via USB, sound is as good or even better than that of a soundcard and there is no interference. Not in your budget though, a mini amp + decent headphones will definitely be 100+ pounds.

I'd look at the Corsair Vengeance 1500 V2, it's a virtual 7.1 surround USB headset with 50mm drivers and it sounds pretty good. It's in budget too.
