New Dell Monitor in the Works?

The Dell designer have been hard at work deciding on new ideas for Dell's new products. Whether they have a hit or miss on this design, they definitely chose something eye catching. See pics and more details in the news.

Meh, I kind of thought so too.I think the glass is too wide, it may look better if it weren't so bulky looking, and I don't like the included speakers in glass idea.

I`m kinda thinking the monitor may slip through that glass exterior, that`d improve things alot.

Something about it doesn`t look new tho, don`t know what it is.....

I`d also like to see that res first hand at that size to see the quality of it. If it`s as good as it suggests, it`s big enough for me to work as a hd-tv. Picture on it doesn`t tell alot.

I have to agree, the screnn itself looks pretty good, I like the fact that the nlack border is really thin. The glass is far too thick and the speakers are sure to suck. I s'pose that's what concepts are all about though, trying something different.

Aye, and seriously 1920x1200 seems like everything would be really small on a 22. My 22 runs at 1650x1080 and things seems to be about right. Dell does have nice monitors though, so I can't say for sure.

I believe you would run your desktop at 1600x1200 and run games at 1920x1200. Thats what i do on my 21" CRT.

I think 1920x1200 would be about right on a 22" panel - I'm currently running 1680x1050 on a 15.4" and its perfect for me
