New 2012 RIG

Hi All

I built my new RIG at the start of this year. But i only just got the the final component. I lost my other pics since my storage drive bit the dust but just took some new ones.

So hears what i got:

Corsair 500r

Corsair AX850w

Corsair H100

Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB

2x Corsair Force 3 120gb RAID0

Western Digital Green 1TB

MSI Z68A-GD65-G3

Intel i7 2600K @ 4.2Ghz

And the cherry on top. MSI 7970 Lightning

The 7970 Lightning. All i can say is what a beast. It looks good and proformas just as good as it looks while staying quite and cool. Had a 2 hour stint on BE3 and it didn't go over 65C

A comparison between my old card (XFX 6870 REF) and my new one. I cant see much difference.

It cost around £1350-£1400 if not more. I'm still going to get two more sticks of RAM (in black this time) and a 2 or 3 TB storage drive.

And the fans are Zalman ZM-SF3 Shark 120MM. Got them from Quiet PC http://www.quietpc.c...casefans/zm-sf3

Yer im the same. It need to be black. But it looks black without direct sunlight on it so it's not to bad.

Just being really picky

, wouldn't it have been a better idea to put the fans on with the cable coming out the back and dropping the access behind your mobo tray ? just to make it look nicer and eliminate a slight bit of messy, also if you want it to be truly epic. get some braided cables "blue" I think that would make this rig tidy as "insert swear word here"
