Need new speakers

Ok so i need some new speakers, a 2.1, 2.0 or soundbar options are probably the best for my room set-up, would prefer something with a sub as im a bass junkie but i want some decent sound too not just bass drowning everything out...

Oh the satellites cant be too massive as i'm short on desk space as my two monitors are taking most of it up...

My budget is'nt decided i'd say under the £400ish mark but i will be willing to spend more if another £50 got me an amazing system so here are some of the systems i've looked into, if you have experience with any of them share and recommend me anything you feel appropriate...

- Corsair sp2500
- Klipsch promedia
- Edifer Spinnake
- Audioengine A2
- B&W MM1
- Various sound bars from Harmon kardon, JBL, yamaha etc

P.s dont have a sound card yet i will probably get one when i get my new sound system

I shall look into it the biggest problem with bookshelf speakers is fitting them in my setup, might have to go down 5.1 surrond sound but that'll be a bitch to cable up neatly also from my understanding the speakers are shitty compared to a decent 2.1 or bookshelf speaker solution =/ my biggest problem is i have two angles of listening to sound; my bed when i watch my tv and my desk when im on it so yeah its why a soundbar seemed the best seemed to cover both angles nicely...

you can`t go wrong with edifier,but i donno about those spinnake.
you can take a look at Microlab SOLO 6C.really high quality dude .the bass is nice too

I use the SP2500s and I love the sound quality (and I like the looks tbh), but I'm no audiophile and I've no experience with any of the other speakers you listed

Anyone know about Wall speakers? I think this might be a decent option to get like 5 decent wall speakers and a sub connect it to a AMP, but i have little expertise on the matter and want to know can you get decent wall speakers for say £150 each speaker or are wall speakers all style and no substance?

have you thought about my speakers the z5500's as you can attach them to the wall and they have pretty good sound and you should be able to pick them up reasonably cheap

I'm not sure they would give the same presence as 5 of these;

and one of these;

But i dont know never used such a high end system before i just want to do something once and never need to mess with it again so i dont mind spending more if i get more

Well the z5500's won't perform like those in the links but if your going to spend good money then take a serious look at what Klipsch have to offer they make some pretty epic speaker that should suit your purposes

I would get some Yamaha HS7's. They are $300 for each speaker, but it's about the best there is in that price range. You won't be able to understand how you've been listening to those crappy logitech speakers after using these for a while lol.

You will need an external soundcard & some TRS cables (aka balanced cables or stereo jack cables) though.

You can find them in almost any decent music store or check sweetwater.com, guitarcenter.com or thomann.de for europe.
