Hi, merry xmas everyone and have a happy new year. Been reviewing the different types of LCDs on the market and can't decide on the one to buy.
I'm looking for a decent all round monitor, mainly for gaming, and then Internet/office/graphics work.
I'm looking around the 24" or 27"/28" price range around £300
The models I'm looking at:
DELL 2408WFP, 6ms GNG, S-PVA
DELL 2709W, 6ms GNG, S-PVA
HannsG HG281D, 3ms GNG, TN
Viewsonic VX2835WM, 3ms GNG, TN
There are some Samsung and HP variants - please let me know if anyone has recommendations for any of the Samsung and HP ones?
I was going to go for the HannsG (from my last thread!) I wanted to find out if the S-PVA lower time response harms gaming from the people with the experience, I'm currently using CRT and don't know. The TN panels are cheaper and I can increase the screen size. But if the time response of the S-PVA panels is acceptable I would be prepared to drop the screen size for the DELL 2408WFP.
cheers
