hi

ok so i would like to try watercooling for the first time i would just like someone to recomend me some good kit at the mo i only want to cool my cpu but i would then like to cool my graphics card i should have about £200 to spend maybe more if i sell my motorbike the processor i will be cooling is a intel q8400 and grfx will be a gtx260 216sp eney advice is welcome thanks :)

What case do you have? Do you want the cooling (rad) internal or external? Are you overclocking?

But anyhow for a pump you can get a MCP350 pump with a decent res top for about £55-60. A triple rad may be okay depending on the fans and you OC so I would say a thermochill pa130.3 £67. then you need a cpu block so maybe a EK supreme HF or Heatkiller or even a Swiftech Apogee gtz price range is going to be for about £40-55. Then all you need now is tubing 7/16 id and barbs 1/2 inch. I didn't mention a gpu block because the core 216 isn't really all that hot. But honestly you need to tell me more specifics of what you want because then I can tailor parts depending on your situation.

well my processor is alredy oc'd to 3.1ghz but if i can get eney more out of it then yh ill oc more and i dont no what case it is atm my cuz gave me the case it dusent have a name on it but ive been looking at the nzxt gamma or the Coolermaster HAF 932 eneything more you need to no ? if so just let me no n sorry for not giving grate info kinda tired XD ran out of sleeping tables so i havent been sleep now for 2 days haha n thanks mate :)

Yeah you will defiantly want to goo with the HAF mainly because it is very easy to mount a 360 rad in the roof. And since your not sleeping take the time to google around for HAF 932 water cooling builds there are alot of them. Hope this helps

yh i have had a look around and i shall be deffo getting the HAF insted of the nzxt case so what settup should i look in to getting like wat pump n so on would a 360 rad be good enuff to cool gpu and cpu ? thanks for the help so far :)

depending on how much you OC the card and the CPU you might be better of getting a dual loop but if ur not OCing crazy and are going to have general good air circulation a triple rad will suffice

Save on the three extra fans and get some fan filters, filters will allow more consistent performance over time. Push/pull will make almost no difference to temps just as increasing fan speed by 50% does almost nothing to temps. Anyone who has had a fan controller and a wc setup would know the extra noise doesnt mean extra performance.

as far as where to get the stuff. Check out Petra's Tech Shop website. They seem to have the latest and greatest at decent prices.
