Need a new drive...

I need a new DVD burner. Something cheap and cheerful will do, so long as it does the job and isn't too expensive

Since they're all so similarly priced these days, do you have any suggestions?

NEC for dvd burners

hell dont matter what u buy pioneer , phillips, LG etc etc most dvd burners use a NEC engine (except sony and a few other)

That's cheap and cheerful enough for me Will probably get it in a week when I get some money

Just discovered local computer shop does identical drive for £30, which since I'll be saving on postage and packing (it's a 10 minute walk from college) it will be even cheaper. The NEC ones are about the same price... I guess I'll get whatever one is in stock
